PHILIP BATEMAN (Musical Director)
Phil grew up in Camberley, Surrey, and
studied Music at Birmingham University. He has worked as
an MD, singing coach, composer and performer. Phil has spent the last two years working as a Musical
Supervisor on the West-End hit Our House by Tim Firth/Madness,
which won the Olivier Award for Best New Musical 2003.
Alongside Tim, director Matthew Warchus and choreographer
Peter Darling he helped create the show, writing all vocal
arrangements, underscore and dance arrangements. A UK tour
is planned for 2005.

Faithful Dealing (Soho Theatre) and five tours of BBC2's
Polka Dot Shorts and ITV's animation series The
Wheels on the Bus.
