MEET THE CAST
CONNOR KELLY
plays MichaelI’m Connor Kelly and I’m 11 years old and I love Michael Jackson.
I live in Scunthorpe with my mum Amanda, my dad Jack, my sister Daisy, 5, and my brother Fraser, 8. I started dancing when I was four and did my first show with my mum. I go to Kimberly School of Dance. I would like to thank my three dance teachers, Kim, Martin and Katie for all they have done. I would also like to thank all my family for what they have done for me and I want to thank my mum and dad the most.
I am really enjoying my time in Billy and hope for a great future in the show. I would like to dedicate my first performance to my great nanna Dolly.
JOE MASSEY
plays MichaelHi my name is Joe and I live in a town called Ellesmere Port, near Liverpool.
My major activities are free running, tap dancing and singing. I went to Elliot Clarke’s dance school and the Allstars Casting agency where I developed my acting skills. From there I auditioned for Billy Elliot. When I heard I was cast as the part of Michael I was amazingly excited even though I had to move away from my friends and family.
The part of Michael is really tough because you have to dance and sing and act but I really look forward to it. I would like to dedicate my performances to my amazing friends and family who have supported me all the way.
JAKE PRATT
plays MichaelHi! My name's Jake, I'm 13 years old and I'm a massive Manchester United fan!
I live in Ickenham with my Mum Jo and my sisters Ellie (10) and Tilly (4). I used to live in Scarborough where I attended the Scarborough Dance Centre where my best friends were Sam and Rhianna. However in September 2007 I moved down to London to attend the Sylvia Young Theatre School where my best friends are Liam, Lauren, Lillie, Harrison and Yasmin. My Dad still works up north and comes to see us at the weekends. In 2007 I was lucky enough to make it through to the semi finals of Britain’s Got Talent. I had an amazing time and I met Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Piers Morgan, Ant and Dec and Steven Mulhern. Since then I've worked for Cbeebies and Playhouse Disney.
I spent the whole of last summer in Coventry working on a film with Alan Carr, Martin Freeman and Pam Ferris. I've also worked with the ferret from the Golden Compass!
I'd just like to say a massive thank you to the crew of Billy Elliot for all they have done over the fantastic last few months! And I'd like to dedicate my performances to my Mum, Dad and sisters as they've supported me all the way.
