plays Mrs WilkinsonTheatre: Joanna Riding has most recently appeared at The Royal Court Theatre in Mark Ravenhill's cycle of plays Shoot/Get Treasure/Repeat, and Mrs Cheveley in An Ideal Husband at The Royal Exchange Theatre, Manchester. Here she has also played Maggie in Hobson's Choice, for which she was nominated for a Manchester Evening News Award, and Miss Gossage in The Happiest Days Of Your Life. Other Theatre credits include most recently, Playing for Tim (Salisbury Playhouse) and Ruth in Blithe Spirit (Bath Theatre Royal and Savoy Theatre, London), Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady (Theatre Royal, Drury Lane) for which she won an Olivier Award for Best Actress in a Musical. Jane in The Witches of Eastwick for which she was nominated for an Olivier Award, Martin Guerre (West Yorkshire Playhouse and National Tour), No Way To Treat A Lady (Arts Theatre), The Portrait Of Dorian Gray (Lyric Hammersmith), Julie in Carousel for which she won an Olivier Award for Best Actress in a Musical, Sarah in Guys And Dolls for which she was nominated for an Olivier Award, A Little Night Music and Oh What A Lovely War all at the Royal National Theatre.
