Multi award-winning Genevieve Lemon's extensive Australian theatre credits include, most recently, Billy Elliot the Musical at both the Capitol Theatre, Sydney, and Her Majesty's Theatre, Melbourne for which she won both the Sydney Theatre Award and Helpmann Award for Best Actress in a Musical as well as the Green Room Award for Female Artist in a Leading Role.

Theatre credits for the Sydney Theatre Company include: Summer Rain, Victory, The Republic of Myopia, Harbour, Hanging Man, The Recruit, Merrily We Roll Along, Miracle City, Once In A Life Time, The Seagull and The Madras House, as well as numerous Wharf Revues.

Her other recent theatre credits include: Priscilla Queen of the Desert The Musical in which she created the role of Shirl, Broken Glass for the Ensemble Theatre, Piaf and Summer of the Seventeenth Doll for the Melbourne Theatre Company, And A Nightingale Sang and Brilliant Lies for Queensland Theatre Company. Other theatre includes Australian premieres of Steaming by Nell Dunn, When I Was A Girl I Used to Scream and Shout, Steel Magnolias (with Nicole Kidman) and My Brilliant Divorce by Geraldine Aron.

Film credits include: Sweetie, The Piano and Suburban Mayhem.

Television credits include: Heartland with Cate Blanchett, Neighbours and Prisoner, as Marlene “Rabbit” Warren. Genevieve is a popular cabaret performer in Australia, shows include Lonestar Lemon, and Lemon Live and Bitter, and The Lemon and I. She hosted the 16th Feb 2003 Anti-war Rally in Sydney's Hyde Park as part of the international protest for peace. A proud member of Australia's Actor's Equity, she was until recently a member of the Board for the Sydney Theatre Company.

Her album, recorded at the Sydney Opera House, is Angels in the City.
