MEET THE CAST
FLEUR HOUDIJK
plays DebbieHi, my name is Fleur Houdijk and I am 13. I usually live in Hartlepool with my mum Sharon and brother Aaron. When I was nine, I started dancing at The Val Armstrong School of Performing Arts and singing at The Northern School of Music with my angelic singing teacher Miss Jane. I wish to thank Miss Wardell, my fantastic ballet teacher; Miss Mac, my funny school teacher and most of all Miss Val for teaching me all the great things I know.
I was overwhelmed when I was offered the part of Debbie. I am having the time of my life at the moment and I would like to dedicate my performances to my wonderful mam, brother and all my friends. I’m so excited!
FRANCESCA MANGO
plays DebbieHi, I'm Francesca. I live in Cramlington, Northumberland, with my family. I have three brothers, one sister and a Dalmatian dog called Lottie. She is expecting puppies. My school is Burnside Primary (year 5). I auditioned for Billy Elliot when I was nine years old, and I was thrilled when I got the part of ''Debbie''. I started dancing and acting when I was six at Michaela Percival's School of Performing Arts, studying Ballet, Tap, Disco, Acting and recently Contemporary Dance.
I have appeared in plays, musicals and pantomimes. I've had loads of support from my family and I would like to give a big hug and thank you to my Mum, Nana and Grandad. They are the BEST!!!. I drive my family mad because I dance non- stop. My Grandad calls me ''Twinkletoes''. I’d like to dedicate my performances to my family, school and friends.
