Billy Elliot The Musical

TOM HOLLAND

Tom joined the cast on 8th September. Here’s what he told us about himself:

Hi my name is Tom. I am 13 years old and I live in Kingston with my Mum, Dad and three brothers, Sam, Harry and Paddy.

I started dancing at a hip hop class on Saturday afternoons called Nifty Feet in Wimbledon and was spotted at a local show case – and was invited to audition for Billy – after which they asked me to start taking ballet classes – which I did in our garage at home. Then ‘Billy’ started sending teachers to my primary school, and eventually I got cast, after 8 auditions and two years later.

My Mum and Dad joke about who I got my talent from. I’ve seen them both dance and I have to say, there must have been a mix up at the hospital!

I have loved my training at Billy and would like to thank all my amazing teachers who have taught me everything I know. Special thanks to Becki Howell who tapped with me in our garage and Louise Jefferson, who taught me ballet in my school gym.

I have played Michael in the show already, but now I can’t wait for all my friends from Donhead and Wimbledon College to come and see me as Billy.

I would like to dedicate my first night to my brothers.
