MEET THE CAST
BARNABY MEREDITH
plays Older BillyBarnaby was born in Bradford, West Yorkshire and he trained locally before given a place at the Royal Ballet School at the age of 11. Whilst attending he took part in many performances alongside the Royal Ballet Company at The Royal Opera House, Covent Garden. He also performed in galas for Dame Ninette de Valois and Sir Anthony Dowell and for many members of the Royal Family including Her Majesty the Queen.
Upon graduation in 2004 Barnaby joined the Dutch National Ballet in Amsterdam where he danced numerous works by choreographers including Forsythe, Robbins, Ashton and Balanchine.
Musical theatre credits include Young Pip in Great Expectations (Leeds Grand Theatre) and Gypsy (West Yorkshire Playhouse) directed by Jude Kelly.
Barnaby is thrilled to be making his West End debut in Billy Elliot – it is truly a dream come true. He would also like to take this opportunity to thank his family and friends for their continued love and support.
