KATHRYN DUNN - Assistant Choreographer
Australian born Kathryn joined the Royal Ballet Company after
winning a scholarship to study at the Royal Ballet School.
While with the Royal she worked with many choreographers
including Sir Kenneth MacMillan, Sir Frederick Ashton, Jerome
Robbins, David Bintley and Ashley Page. She then returned to
Australia and joined Sydney Dance Company, Chunky Move
Dance Theatre and Aboriginal Dance company in Bangarra.
Leaving dance to pursue acting she then played Stella in Antony
Schaffer’s The Thing In The Wheelchair, appeared in Television
series Water Rats, ABC drama Wet and short films Null and Void
and Black. Back in London her musical credits include Contact,
On Your Toes and Chicagoin which she understudied Roxie Hart.
Feature films she has recently completed include Phantom of the
Opera directed by Joel Schumacher and Beyond the Sea
directed by Kevin Spacey.
Her choreography credits include: Bruce Beresford’s Paradise
Road and ID for the Sydney Opera House.
