As part of the ongoing audition process Working Title and Old Vic Productions are looking for boys aged 9 to 13 years to audition for the roles of Billy and Michael in the West End production of Billy Elliot.
Tap and ballet experience are a bonus. Max height 5ft. No broken voices.
Auditions are taking place in the following locations:
Come ready to dance first and then you may be asked to sing. Wear comfortable clothes and trainers and bring any dance shoes you have. No lycra, leotards or jazz pants!
Please arrive at 9am, to register for all venues - you will then be given a time for your group. Be prepared to stay all day if required.
We ask that only one family member accompanies the boys to the audition as there is not enough room for whole families!
Please bring a photo, a drink and lots of energy.

The search for boys to play Billy in the Korean production of the show continues in November. Following successful auditions in Korea in February and August, the upcoming November auditions will also invite applications from 10-12 year old Korean boys living abroad.
We invite boys interested in auditioning for the role to upload a video of themselves singing and dancing on YouTube.com, then fill out an application form indivating the address of the YouTube video and send the application via email to billy@magistella.com
The application form can be downloaded from the offical Billy Korea website at www.musicalbillyelliot.co.kr. All videos will be reviewed, and those qualified will be given the opportunity to participate in the November auditions in Seoul, Korea. Successful applicants would be required to relocate to Seoul, Korea for a period of training prior to commencing performances there.
The Korean production of Billy Elliot the Musical is scheduled to begin performances in the summer of 2010 at the LG Art Center in Seoul. For more information, visit www.musicalbillyelliot.co.kr.
